Slow going catching up! Sort of. I was VOLUNTEERED to help out at our town's annual fair thinger majig, but, uh, I don't mind too much actually? Or at all? I am apparently getting paid in food. Since it's by my mother mostly. Also, they always have really good food. ...Why is there a theme? But yeah! Food and me. Theme for life.

Also, I kind of enjoy dressing up in ridiculous outfits and manning (womanning?) a booth!

In other news, we're buying lots of stuff for Annie's dorm! And apparently, despite being the older of us, I am going to her sibling day (which is traditionally younger sibs), but that is a-okay with me because I enjoy our bonding. It's so much better than when we were little and biting off one another's heads every five seconds.

Also, the plant I bought at last year's fair is still alive. :D It's on my dresser, by the window, and I am so proud of myself just now it's ridiculous. Granted, I can usually keep plants alive barring the cats EATING THEM (wtf?), but still! Happy times.

And I also am signing up for courses still. For next semester, I mean! And we watched this utterly lame video at work about unions (the FECA act?). WE NEVER DO ALL THE COOL HIGH FIVES AND STUFF THEY DO IN VIDEOS.

Why is that what I'm focusing on? Because I'm me.

Apparently I want to do cool group high fives?

Going to dinner with mom and Annie, be back soon!

I totally did not sign on at all today until just now. We are still doing the star wars marathon thing. :D

Jun. 12th, 2009

Not to SPAM you guys (I'm apparently chatty today) but I am going to go watch STAR WARS with Anna-banana (the second - or, well, the fifth, whatever).

IT WILL BE FUN. Also, we made pasta. ♥ I love my sister.

And, to make this less random and spammy, I'll say we can do the veritaserum meme thing here. Ask something, I guess? I'll respond in character, possibly with icons from their journals, because I'm lazy and need to upload more than Ella icons to this account.

...Why do I only have Ella icons? idk. Ella likes this, though.

Jun. 4th, 2009

Guys I'll be on later tonight (fairly late, probably) since Annie is graduating today! Just checking things, I can't do long replies just now. :/

Paul has like no time to freak out about Sylvia right now. OWLs negate that. Also, Naoko is probably the only reason he passed Potions (...barely. Oh so barely. Practical, at least). He was also muttering Quidditch teams to himself during the entire exam, because that's what he named his cards. He didn't do spectacularly, but he dragged through. And amazingly enough was able to slice things without making them oblongish. He isn't under the effect of the song thing, as he has no clue why Sylvia is being weird since he was JUST TRYING TO HELP. Paul also has been studying. And going "MAC THERE IS NO TIME TO BLANK OUT MAN". I'm pretty certain he will send Naoko all the biscuits she could ever want, and his family will probably be "what, really?" in a totally surprised fashion when he says he passed. Making him go "D: D: D: YES OF COURSE I TOLD YOU I WOULD GET BETTER". 'better' for Paul apparently means 'less deadly' rather than actually being reasonably competent. Don't rain on his parade, though. :[

Since his problem is mostly over-enthusiasm or panic or totally forgetting what he's doing from sheer OH YAY POTIONS ♥ (weirdly he likes it, although he knows he fails) Naoko's Ninja Orders to stay calm actually helped. Explaining things in a Ninja manner = Paul is more likely to listen.

He is such a dork. I don't even have an explanation for his dorkiness.

Rhiannon is still irritated by the song. I don't think it would bug her so much if she hadn't noticed she was doing it, tried the usual methods to get it out of her head, and found it impossible. It's just mocking her. I am fairly certain she is in some sort of karmic circle of mocking with James, who is laughing at her unhelpfully, much like she did at the Gryffindor/Slytherin match. Otherwise she's making use of the lack of classes to read/study, although her own exams are lolworthy, since they aren't NEWTs or OWLs.

Nora was also effected by the song thing, but doesn't mind. She's humming happily, and assumes it is stuck in her head because the concert was that awesome. She's sort of being quiet because she's a bit D: about Rory + Ewan leaving and doesn't want to bother them during NEWTs.

Molly is writing her epicly long Concerned Letter, which I have to take breaks from occasionally. She also apparently is helping Victoire with care packages, or something.

AND THAT'S AN UPDATE. Not that anyone needs to know BUT I FELT LIKE IT.

And now I'm taking Annie to see Up. ♥ WE'RE NOT TOO OLD OKAY OMG.

ATTENTION.

My internet is now working in bursts of anywhere from 2 minutes to a few hours (usually more around twenty minutes, idk) so I DON'T KNOW HOW OFTEN I CAN RESPOND? I am trying my best. And like, typing up comments/responses between bursts so I can hit enter when they come.

...God I'm a dork.

BUT. I'm also not going to be on until later tonight (which will only be for a bit, as WORK) since Annie and I are having a Star Wars marathon. 4 - 6 actually. :O LUKE.

I AM YOUR FATHER.

ETC.

♥ you all!

Okay our internet is officially sucky. ...Again. Still, rather. Anna and I are just at Grandma and Grandpa's for the day, with our laptops, leeching. We're also going to the movies/dinner, probably. The rents are, respectively, at a conference in a different state and on a work trip.

I think Annie is doing the ff.net thing (she likes it) or watching old Grey's Anatomy eps. We are in different rooms, as we like different chairs.

And I had more to say but I forgot what it was.

PIE. We still have it.

Thursday is the only other day I work this week! Thank god for relaxing after this weekend. Working at a clothes store on Memorial day weekend? So not fun.

Tomorrow, however, is a doctor's appointment downtown. I swapped shifts with Amber in order to go. It's a requisite for refilling my medication (for the OCD, zoloft. With the cute little blobby thingies, I like those commercials, although they're more aimed at ~sad~ people, which isn't why I need it). Psychologist visits are a requisite, although mostly it's just "how does the medication make you feel?" and such. And like, the usual stuff. For some reason all the psychologists I've had (since ten, when I went on the meds for OCD) have been really weird/not nice. HOPEFULLY this new one will be...less crazy?

The last one had the busiest office ever. And one of those ticking clocks. Clocks that tick drive me mad. And other things were moving/making noises/being distracting, it was no fun.

Usually I have a family member go in with me - people usually go "are you sure?" but I ramble at my family about everything, and it's usually my mom. Back in my teen years we went to the doctor and they always got awkward about asking me things like "Are you sexually active? do you smoke?" because I always had her go in, mostly to talk to when we were waiting. I disliked reading the magazines, because I never got to finish an article/all the articles I wanted. :[

I don't know where this ramble was going. Basically: doctor's appointment, I am driving mom and I out there tomorrow, and we will probably lunch as well. :O And then I will have more of my zoloft and not get migraines from going off it/ocd attacks. Well, not 'attacks', but just...yeah.

Also, I can't find my watch. ...again. Where do I put things, seriously?

Anna's cat is the best thing ever. We got a laser pointer, and he is just attacking it like mad. I hope he is always crazy, although sometimes (like when he opens my door, i.e. this morning) I wish he were sane.

I want pie now. ♥

Apr. 30th, 2009

GUYS I'M SLEEPY.

So I'm going to bed.

...That was my public service announcement for the day, idk?

AIM hates me and has not been working. I am ANGRY with you, aim. :[

And my sister's cat is crazy, what else is new, seriously. He tried to scratch his way through the window today (idk, I really don't) to get to a bird outside, which was...amusing, I guess? He's such a crazy kitty. Also, he attacked me about five times while I was getting breakfast, which was unhelpful. ...very unhelpful.

I will try to fix aim tomorrow ~4 pm est, assuming nothing stands in my way.

I would do character musings here to go with the flow of my flist, but...I'm so, so tired.

Perhaps I will ramble at you all tomorrow, although I am always half afraid I will bore people, because I...ramble. So.

Also, I can't find my watch. I think my sister's cat stole it. ...Seriously.

Apr. 21st, 2009

My sister wants to go see the Hannah Montana move (apparently due to curiosity of the morbid sort?) and is begging me to take her. May do this tomorrow, when I do not have a colddddddddd.

Also, wtf television. I LIKE DOLLHOUSE. WHY DO YOU TAKE AWAY THE SHOWS I LIKE. FIRST PUSHING DAISIES AND NOW THIS. AND SARAH CONNOR. ALSO POSSIBLY CHUCK BUT DON'T YOU DARE.

/capslock rage.

Also, ICE CREAM. That's good for colds, right?

I don't care, I like ice cream.

I can't think of anything else except the fact that I am sad there is probably no more city of ember books. :[
